Anchored in Faith, Your Soul...Our Mission
Formerly known as the “CCD” program, the St. Ann Parish School of Religion (PSR) offers children in grades K-12 of non-Catholic academic schools, opportunities for formal religious education. Classes meet once a week and are taught by volunteer Catechists who share the vision of teaching the Gospel of Jesus. The PSR program also provides for those children ages 5 years and older who are in need of religious education for receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation (grade 11).
PSR classes meet each Tuesday evening from 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. The program always begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and concludes on the second Tuesday of May, following the school calendars for holidays. There is a small one-time fee to cover the cost of materials used in the classes and students are expected to miss no more than 5 classes during the school year.
Information and registration forms regarding the PSR program can be found on this page or by calling the church office at 504-455-7071, ext. 2225 or emailing the Director of Religious Education at [email protected]
