Anchored in Faith, Your Soul...Our Mission
Established in October of 1995, the School Advisory Council (formerly the School Board) serves as a consultative body to the Pastor and to the Principal in the implementation of Archdiocesan policies and to formulate policies on the local parish level. The Council works in close association with the Principal; but the Principal is accountable to the Pastor, not to the Council. Members are selected through a parish- and school-wide nomination process, followed by an orientation workshop and personal interview by the Selection Committee. Members serve three-year terms.
The Council does not discipline students, develop curriculum, improve instructional materials, hire/fire staff, write regulations, or handle grievances.
