Anchored in Faith, Your Soul...Our Mission
A Catholic lay organization inspired by Gospel values, the St. Anthony Ministry leads men and women to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person services to the needy and suffering.
As a reflection of the whole family of God, members are drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age group, and economic level. Nourished by prayer, volunteers are united in mutually supportive gatherings by their mutual spirit of humility, charity and sharing.
In addition to serving clients on an individual basis, five to six volunteers assist with feeding the homeless at the Ozanam Inn in New Orleans.
At Thanksgiving, with the cooperation of St. Ann School, volunteers distribute baskets of food to clients at a location on the St. Ann Parish campus.
If you are interested in getting involved with the St. Anthony Ministry, please call the parish office, 504-455-7071.
