  • Please subscribe to our YouTube Channel. If we get at least 1000 subscribers, we will be able to live-stream on YouTube as well as Facebook and our Website.

Please share with your friends and family to help us reach 1,000 Subscribers. Streaming from YouTube and then sharing that on other media would be a much more efficient way for us to stream.

  • Collection Basket

We have had several people ask about how to make contributions.

Let us continue to pray deeply during this time of great difficulty, especially for those who work in the medical field and those in hospitals at this time.

    • St. Michael ... Pray for us!
    • St. Roch ... Pray for us!
    • Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos ... Pray for us!
    • Our Lady of Prompt Succor ... Hasten to help us!
  • Universal Charitable Deduction

The signing of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (“CARES”) Act has created a Universal Charitable Deduction of $300 for taxpayers. This is an “above-the-line” deduction, which means it will be available to all taxpayers, not just those who itemize.

Example: A taxpayer who takes the standard deduction and makes a $300 cash gift (not stock) to a qualified charitable organization, like their parish, may claim the $300 deduction in computing his or her adjusted gross income. The gift may be made at any time during the remainder of 2020. This deduction is in addition to the taxpayer’s standard deduction.

If you would like to make a donation to St. Ann Church & National Shrine, you can do so electronically here: you can mail it to 4940 Meadowdale St., Metairie, LA 70006.

Your generosity of stewardship is always appreciated.

  • Mass Sign-Ups

The Mass sign-ups did not reach our limit of 400, so we will no longer be using them.

Please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing out of Christian charity toward one another.

Please remember that for the faithful of the Archdiocese of New Orleans the obligation to attend Mass has been dispensed. Masses will take place as scheduled but if you are concerned for the health and well-being of yourself, your family, or others, you are not obligated to attend.

We will continue to live-stream daily Mass at 8:45 AM, the Vigil Mass on Saturday at 4:00 PM, and the Sunday Mass at 9:30 AM, as long as the dispensation is in place.

  • Phase 2

**Update June 22, 2020** According to Governor Edwards, the State of Louisiana will remain in Phase 2 for another month.

We are now in Phase 2, which allows us 50% of our church capacity.  For St. Ann Parish, this is 400 people.

Out of Christian charity and a concern for the safety and protection of each other, we are requiring you to wear a mask in church.  We would like to remind you to respect social distancing guidelines in the church.  Families may sit together, but please remember you have a personal responsibility to maintain 6 feet of social distance between your family and others.

Please bring a hand sanitizer to use before and after Holy Communion.

As a reminder, Catholics in the Archdiocese of New Orleans are still dispensed of the obligation to attend Mass, and we will continue to live-stream daily Mass at 8:45 AM, the Vigil Mass on Saturday at 4:00 PM, and the Sunday 9:30 AM Mass as long as the dispensation is in place.

If you have risk factors or are simply uncomfortable with the number of people in the church, it may be best if you continue to watch the live stream until you are more comfortable.  IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OR FEVER, PLEASE STAY HOME.

On Saturdays before 4:00 PM Mass, we are resuming the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 and the Rosary at 3:20.

During the month of July, we are live-streaming The Litany of the Most Precious Blod of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the St. Ann Novena Prayers, Monday through Friday at 3:00 pm.

You can find all live-streamed events on the video page of our website, as well as on our Facebook Page.  There is also a Mass Times button in the bottom right on the website and those Masses that will be live-streamed have an arrow that is a link to the video page.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we step into this new phase and please take every precaution to keep yourself and those around you safe.

    God Bless!
